Douglas Fuhrman has served as CEO and President of The Douglas Rogers Group and its predecessors since their inception, providing crisis and turnaround management assistance to companies that are facing some kind of difficulty. Whether they are underperforming or facing a serious crisis that is threatening their existence, Mr. Fuhrman has the experience to provide effective, on-site management to resolve the issue at hand.
Mr. Fuhrman holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Management Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has over twenty-five (25) years' experience providing business operating and financial expertise for small and medium size organizations. He has expertise in virtually all areas of senior level management with specialization in raising capital, restructuring debt, re-organizing operations, developing strategic plans for growth and resolving severe crisis that threatens a company's ability to go forward.
Mr. Fuhrman's prior experience includes holding senior level management positions in manufacturing, construction, service, non-profit, and higher education. In the 1980's, he started, operated and eventually sold an environmental contracting business building it to over 100 employees. He restructured $20 million in debt and internal operations for a college … refinanced $400,000 of equipment financing for a manufacturer … re-engineered operations and marketing processes for a major unit of a Fortune 500 defense contractor, quadrupling sales in four years … and instituted financial controls for a graphic design firm reversing losses and negative cash flow.
Mr. Fuhrman has served on various Boards and committees and is a member of various civic and professional associations. He held the position of Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees at The King's College, Chairman of the Elder Board in his church and has held numerous other positions in various organizations. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Rotary, Monmouth-Ocean Development Council and Chamber of Commerce.
James K. McCarthy

Jim McCarthy brings significant experience in identifying and solving business problems in various industries to his role as a consultant with The Douglas Rogers Group. In this capacity he is responsible for evaluating the condition of companies and assisting in the development of strategic plans for revival or growth. Mr. McCarthy has nearly 20 years' experience in all major facets of management, including administration, operations, sales, marketing, finance, planning and project development. He uniquely combines the ability to develop corrective measures with skills for implementation.
Mr. McCarthy has operational and management experience in several industries. Prior to joining The Douglas Rogers Group, he was President/CEO for Learning Technologies Corporation, a vocational school and regional training center specializing in the instruction of desktop and high-end computer software programs. Mr. McCarthy served in various management positions with Kentile Floors Inc., Allied-Signal-Flight Systems Division, and Singer-Kearfott Division. He has always brought significant contributions to these companies and is known as an individual who can solve a wide range of problems. Mr. McCarthy brings noteworthy experience in productivity improvement, marketing analysis, inventory analysis and cost control.
Mr. McCarthy is actively involved in a number of professional associations. He has served on the Board of Directors of The Monmouth-Ocean Development Council, the local chapter of The National Academy of Finance and as a Trustee of the MODC Education Foundation. Mr. McCarthy is a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and is a graduate of Leadership Shore. He is also active in the Monmouth-Ocean County communities as a student mentor for area high schools and as leader of the Men's Ministry of Trinity Bible Church in Wall Township, New Jersey.
Mr. McCarthy received a BA degree in Business Administration from the College of Business - William Paterson University and a MBA in Marketing from the Stillman School of Business - Seton Hall University.
